Dao Van is the founder of Dao Vanity Beauty Studio & Academy, with over 20 years in the beauty industry—built on passion, vision, and an unwavering commitment to her craft. Her journey began with hair, and to this day, it remains the foundation of her artistry. For Dao, hair is more than a service—it’s a form of expression and a way to transform not just how someone looks, but how they feel.
She is known for her seamless cuts and soft, dimensional colour—work that feels effortless, refined, and deeply personalized. Her approach is not about chasing trends, but about creating timeless beauty that enhances each client’s natural features. As her career evolved, so did her creativity. She expanded into bridal hair and makeup, and into work across photoshoots, beauty pageants, film, and television. These experiences shaped her eye for detail and strengthened her belief that every client deserves a result that feels elevated, intentional, and uniquely their own.
Dao has always believed in growing with the industry—not following it. When eyelash extensions first emerged, she pursued advanced training both locally and internationally, including mastering a specialized one-tweezer technique under a master in Vietnam. This level of dedication led to the creation of her signature lash line, Black Rose, and naturally evolved into her role as both an artist and an educator.
Her passion for growth continued into permanent makeup, where she trained across Canada, the United States, and internationally with leading artists from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Russia, and Turkey. Along the way, she has organized, hosted, and supported masterclasses—always learning, always refining, and always raising her standards.
In 2022, Dao brought her vision to life with Dao Vanity Beauty Studio & Academy—a space created with purpose. Every detail was designed to reflect a certain feeling: calm, elevated, welcoming, and refined. It’s a place where clients can slow down, feel taken care of, and trust that they are in the hands of a team that truly values quality and experience.
Today, Dao leads a team of artists and future educators who share the same mindset—focused on growth, creativity, and excellence. Behind every service is not just one artist, but a collective standard that ensures every client receives thoughtful, consistent, high-level care.

CHRISTINE CARREON-MEGER
CERTIFIED LASH EXTENSIONS & MAKEUP ARTIST
Christine began her journey in the beauty and wellness industry at just 17, starting out as a cosmetician and evolving into a freelance makeup and lash artist. For over a decade, she balanced her passion for beauty while working full-time in social services.
Now, Christine is embracing her true calling, stepping fully into the beauty world as a Lash & Makeup Artist at Dao Vanity Beauty Studio.
She’s thrilled to be joining a powerhouse team of talented artists and is eager to grow her craft. Christine is personally trained and certified in Dao Van’s exclusive Black Rose Lashes one-tweezer method, personally mentored by Dao Van herself—bringing precision, elegance, and intention to every set of lashes she creates.
MISO LEE
CERTIFIED PMU ARTIST

Miso is a passionate Permanent Makeup (PMU) artist, dedicated to helping clients enhance their natural beauty with timeless, flawless results. She began her career specializing in PMU, perfecting brows, eyeliner, and lip blush, and dark lip neutralization. After joining Dao Vanity, Miso further expanded her expertise, becoming a Korean lash lift specialist and adding brow lamination, waxing, and tinting to her services—offering a complete menu designed to create polished, effortless, and natural beauty.
Already trained and experienced, Miso worked closely with Dao Van, whose personal guidance elevated her artistry to reflect the signature techniques and standards of Dao Vanity. Her work is always precise, subtle yet noticeable, and designed to enhance each client’s unique features with elegance and care.
Driven by a passion for learning and staying ahead of industry trends, Miso ensures every service delivers both timeless results and a modern, elevated experience. Her creativity, energy, and dedication shine through in every appointment, making each client feel confident, radiant, and truly seen.
TAJASVI NAYAK (TJ)
HAIRSTYLIST, COLOURIST, HAIR BOTOX & SMOOTHING SPECIALIST

TJ is a passionate and dedicated hairstylist whose journey into the beauty industry is both inspiring and bold. With a background as a medical lab technician, she made the courageous decision, supported by her husband, to pursue her true passion in hairstyling, and she hasn’t looked back since.
TJ specializes in luxury hair botox treatments, smoothing, and straightening treatment, precision cuts and glamour blow out that leave clients feeling refreshed, confident, and beautiful. Her approach is all about enhancing natural beauty while delivering a personalized experience for every guest in her chair.
TJ is thrilled to be part of the Dao Vanity team, where she works alongside a collective of incredibly talented women. She is deeply committed to learning, growing, and mastering Dao Vanity’s exclusive techniques under direct mentorship. Her goal is not only to evolve as a stylist but also to contribute to the continued success and creativity of the team.

ARTA SABANI
HAIRSTYLIST, COLOURIST, BRIDAL HAIR & MAKEUP SPECIALIST

Arta Sabani bringing over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. Originally from Kosovo, she built a successful career as a salon owner, where she became known for her creativity in haircuts, expert colouring, and flawless bridal hair and makeup. Her work has always been about more than beauty—it’s about helping clients feel confident, radiant, and uniquely themselves.
Since joining Dao Vanity, Arta has continued to evolve her craft alongside a team of passionate artists, embracing the Dao Vanity Signature Seamless Cut and Colour and advanced treatments like Hair Botox and smoothing services. Her hair is effortlessly polished, her makeup precise and luminous, and every detail reflects her dedication to creating an elevated, personalized experience.
What sets Arta apart is her genuine love for the craft. For her, beauty is not just a service—it’s an experience.
